![]() Additional control panels and interface upgrades that add to the automated functions of the mech and improve compatibility with Federal tech, reducing some of the drawbacks of exported hardware. Also all through a singular interface not intended for high-intensity combat, making it difficult to flip between the different modes quickly. Functions as an advanced jammer, encrypted comm unit, comm decryptor unit, emission control module, and secondary sensor processing suite all in one. #Fractured space pioneer vs brawler installInstall a Federation Multispectrum E-War Suite. An improved communication suite better suited for cutting through jamming and maintaining datalinks with lancemates. (Gain +1 General XP after each battle) (1 CP) Improve chair for better ergonomics on long flights and intense battles. Never leave base without lunch and coffee bulbs ever again for long deployments. Install a refrigerated locker in the mech cockpit. This rapid-fire gun is a peashooter in mech combat, but suitable for intercepting missiles or engaging sub-mech targets. Install a point defense gun in the mech's head. Burnthrough Capacitor: An extended power bank and coolant array to enable sustained firing against a single target, enough to melt warship armor into slag so long as a single point of contact is maintained. Effects and CP-boon amplified by prior choices, chance of special salvage) That little stash from outer Turan was just the tip of the iceberg of what they have stolen. Unconventional Procurement: Local CIF forces have received little support from out-sector forces, making the locals get creative in procurement. Strikecraft gun-runs and missile strikes will be available for support in orbit or planetside, but they can't hold ground like mechs. Nordamark Strikecraft Support: The Nordamark aerospace fighter carrier will be adjacent to your sector. Spares you from needing to swap to a loaned mech for the ground battle. Concord Drop Lander: The AC will dispatch a bulk lander to facilitate safely transiting your Voidhammer from orbit to planetary surface once the GTO batteries are down. (1 points, random friendly Redrosian lance) Its a fuzzy answer, but you gave all of them a bit of a leg up before now. Redrosian Backup: Indomitable can spare another lance to assist you in the south, given all the damage already inflicted upon the CIF defenders in the outer system. Plan: David's Slingshot But Without Putting Everyone's Lives in Danger Someone whose view of the universe doesn’t really change even if they’re awakened. So, imagine an Awakened Rawne or Princess in that vein. To offer an example, suppose that was the reaction of an Awakened Halfpenny - she’d be like “Well, we still have to live in this world, so we need to worry about the outcome of the war, even if it only involves maybe a few thousand real people instead of hundreds of billions.” Someone who wakes up… and decides it doesn’t actually change much. The third seems the most likely of the three. #Fractured space pioneer vs brawler skinThey already think the war is basically pointless and have no skin in the game (beyond their own hides). The second is possible, but it isn’t too far off from our existing characters. It’d seem like a bad joke on the players. The first would be a waste of CP, so I doubt we’d get that in gameplay terms. Otherwise it kinda retreads existing terrain. I can't wait to buy like 3 more of these.Click to shrink.Thinking of it in small-n narrative terms, there seems like three outcomes that differentiate a newly Awakened character from the existing ones: they go insane, they turn nihilistic, or they don’t care. I really, really hope you guys become big like 8Bitdo and Hyperkin so that we can see what other stuff you guys put out in the coming years, and so we can have a reliable source of good controllers in the future. You guys are my heroes! I collect video game systems, and haven't had the urge to play my N64 in any significant amount in a long time simply because I hated the controllers so much, and could never find a good alternative that I could justify spending money on ($200 for an old, used hori pad? Heck no!). Where have you guys been all these years?! FINALLY, a proper, widely-available, well-designed, well-functioning N64 controller with an Analog stick that is precise and isn't overly-sensitive! I played many, many games last night to get a good feeling for how this controller feels and performs, and wanted to share my feedback. I just bought a Brawler 64 (classic gray) and received it yesterday. ![]()
